Generally, the tire vibration only arrives at 60ish. 1956 Chevy 4400Ģ000 GMC Sonoma Vibrates at 25 and 45 mph. Tranny was rebuilt about 50 miles ago and clutch is new. Otherwise there are no vibrations to speak of. Current issue is this: there is a vibration that occurs while driving that only happens at about 45 MPH then stops when you hit about 50.

It is a daily driver that runs like a top. I have been able to mitigate many of problems and lessen there frequency by adapting my driving style around the problem, such as It will first happen around 45-50 mph and again at around 60 mph It also happens when under additional load, such as driving at a constant speed up a hill. The shake usually always occurs at very specific mph ranges. The coils were cheap on ebay – I figured if some were bad I could return them or reuse some of the oem that I took off. I replaced my plugs and coils back in August. I got truck shake due to tires out of balance, but that was at 70-75 mph. It does not feel like it is the front end, I don’t really feel it in the I have not had it over 70 MPH so I do not know if it picks up again above that. The shake is felt from just over 45 MPH to about 50 MPH. My new truck has had a shake in it since I picked it up. I have taken it back to the tire shop twice, and they are great about it.ĭonThompson.

It only happens between 45 and 55 mph, both while accelerating and coasting. I only feel it in the seat, not the steering wheel. Now I am having a vibration which feels like it is coming from the rear. I can compare it to running a manual trans truck, slowing down, and trying to accelerate, but in to high of gear. If I put the truck into the tow/haul mode, the RPM’s jump, and the vibration goes away. Now that I am noticing it a bit more, it seems like it is almost lugging at 45 mph.
